About Clay Electric

Clay Electric is a residential electrical contracting company serving homeowners and general contractors across North Carolina. Our website is built to do one thing well: turn a visit into a clear, confident path to an electrical project quote — whether that is a new construction build, a generator installation, a panel upgrade, or a full home remodel and rewire.

The app is made for two audiences. The first is the homeowner who needs trustworthy, code-compliant electrical work and wants to understand exactly what a project involves before committing. The second is the general contractor looking for a reliable subcontracting partner — a licensed, insured, and bonded crew that shows up, documents the work, and delivers on schedule. A dedicated contractor portal and a multi-step quote engine help each audience get to the right information and the right next step without friction.

Clay Electric is built and operated by Alex Clay, a licensed electrician with a decade of residential and industrial field experience. Every project is approached with the same standard: fully licensed and insured work, transparent scoping, and craftsmanship that holds up to inspection. This site is the front door to that standard — and an invitation to put it to work on your next project.
